I help individuals, couples, and families to work through obstacles and build lasting relationships.

Just like rocky or dysfunctional relationships can leave us feeling pretty rough, a secure and caring bond can be help us heal. Therapy is like having a safe space to dive into your thoughts and feelings, gain new perspectives, and figure out what might be holding you back. I get it, facing our pain head-on and trusting someone with it is a big deal. That's why I'm here to create a comfortable and supportive space where you can grow and make positive change.

My approach? It's all about teamwork and treating you with respect. I use different ways of working together based on what you want and need. We're talking about things like understanding how your brain works, looking at family dynamics, processing difficult experiences and finding new coping skills.

Who is Emily?

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a specialized focus on helping adolescents, young adults, and families who have endured the profound effects of chronic stress, complex trauma, and the resulting emotional struggles. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, using a variety of modalities to help you regain a sense of control, heal emotional wounds, and develop strategies to manage difficult emotions.

I graduated from Brown University, and hold a masters degree in psychology from Pepperdine. What sets me apart in my practice is not only my academic and professional qualifications but also my personal journey and experiences with mental health. My own path was one of healing, resilience, and ultimately, a career as a therapist specializing in trauma. These experiences have not only shaped me as a person but have also profoundly influenced my approach as a therapist.
